Beniko and Kazan no Nukarumi

My new Bleach OC, Beniko Kozawa, and her Zanpakto, Kazan no Nukarumi (Volcanic Mire).

Beniko is a soul reaper in Squad 7, fourth seat, though her capabilities are easily lieutenant level.
As of right now, Beni only has a Shikai developed. And with her Shikai, she is at a second seat.
But her Bankai is under development as of right now... So I don't know where she'll be when I get that rolling.

Anyway, Beniko Kozawa (Red Child of the Small Swamp) is a level headed, serious woman, who does not take nonsense lightly. Beniko has a sense of honor, and she loathes shady people who care not for those around them. Her sense of honor makes her happily help others, and not for the rewards. Despite her honorable nature, she is self driven, having her own purposes that she wants to fulfill. She is also quick to lose her patience, especially with those who do not take a fight seriously. Even though she has such stern quirks, Beniko does have a side to her that's much more relaxed. And that's when she's learning. It doesn't matter what it is. Beniko loves to learn, and she puts that knowledge to her advantage, in whatever way she can. Beniko is exceptionally bright as well. She had once been offered a spot in Squad 12, but she declined, not wanting to throw her lot in with 'shady characters'. A favorite pass-time of Beniko's is to watch, and keep track of her squad mates' progress, and this is easy for her to do, since she has a keen eye, that picks up on things quickly.

Beniko's Zanpakto is Kazan no Nukarumi (Volcanic Mire). Her Zanpakto is a lazy sass master, who is also sort of whorish, can be quite rebellious, and gets bored easily. He listens to Beniko, but his 'services' come at a 'price'. Kazan no Nukarumi is a lot of what Beniko despises, especially with his relaxed nature. And because Beni gets so uptight with him, Kazan no Nukarumi just gets to enjoy it all the more. Surprisingly, the two of them do seem to get along very well.
